Oakwood Building Contractors Limited successfully won this new build residential development at tender in March 2021. The scheme involved the demolition of an existing house and construction of 5 no. new build houses (2 no. end of terrace, 2 no. terrace and 1 no. detached) including all associated parking and landscaping. 

The houses were constructed to the design and specification provided by our client, Broadhaven Holdings Ltd, using a combination of traditional masonry brick and block, with both steel and timber frame elements. The envelope consisted of a brick and render finish with aluminium windows and single ply membrane roof. The project was procured through traditional means, with Oakwood Building Contractors entering into a JCT 2016 Intermediate Building Contract including some contractor design elements.
